Examples of Web 2.0 Technologies

New technology, trends and business applications are introduced to us more and more frequently. Businesses are becoming more savvy with finding ways to convert themselves into a, “Digital Business”.  Technology itself is consistently changing to accommodate the “on the demand needs” of the consumer. Mobile technology using mobile computing is shaping today’s society with its ability to enable people to work from anywhere without being at their desk.

You may ask why are smart phones primarily being integrated into the business and consumer world? Well, with technology such as; Facebook, Twitter, and especially mobile cloud computing, companies can connect with other businesses and even consumers right from the palm of their hands. Besides, who wants to be stuck to a dusty desk all day? Mobile technology in a whole is a great way to keep up with business sales, marketing, and send and receive email. Just being able to access documents from the cloud or post a quick Facebook message or tweet can all be managed from virtually anywhere at anytime via a smart phone.

Can you imagine an hour or a day without your phone? Mobile devices are evolving quickly and growing tremendously, now on a 4G network. More and more businesses are engaging their industries in using smart phones for communication purposes and to improve the business technical aspects. Per a tech report from, “Inc.” smart phones such as; HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Blackberry Z10 are the most secure smart phones for businesses in comparison to any other phone on the market.

The need to stay connected with the world is a major concern for not just consumers but businesses as well. Businesses are always looking at more ways to conveniently stay connected with both the workplace and the consumer without having to be on site. So why not be connected with technologies like mobile cloud?
